HVAC Maintenance

HVAC Maintenance

Performing proper regular maintenance on your system has been proven to effectively lower energy cost. Your seasonal service will extend your equipment life and provide you with efficient and reliable equipment that saves you money over time.

We Maintenance the following:

Lubricate moving parts

Non-lubricated or improperly lubricated moving parts of any HVAC system and its components can cause a serious drop in performance and lead to malfunctions and damage to the system. Also, improper lubrication increases utility bills.

Clean and adjust blower parts

It is very important to, regardless of the type and brand of HVAC system, have it well adjusted, calibrated and as clean as possible. These things might seem like no-brainers but the unnecessary cost increases they can cause, are staggering.

Check and Inspect Condensate Drain

Every HVAC system needs a clean and well-maintained condensate drain. This benefits overall performance of the system and decreases bills and repair costs.

Check Thermostat Settings

As the head of the HVAC system, proper functioning of the thermostat is of utmost importance, whether it is a traditional or smart one. Proper calibration, right settings and smooth communication with other parts of the system are among top priorities.

Tighten Connections

Installation quality is of equal importance as the quality of the system and its individual components. If the installation job was done poorly, your HVAC system will perform poorly, as well. We will check and tighten connections of your system to help you reduce the bills and have a more efficient system.

Clean Evaporator and Condenser Coils

We will check and thoroughly clean the condenser and evaporator coils of your system to make sure your space is optimally heated/cooled regardless of the season. Poorly maintained coils can significantly hinder the performance of the entire system.

Check System Controls

Even the best and most advanced systems are useless if they can not be properly controlled and used. Control issues can cause big problems down the road and take a high toll on your heating and cooling bills, as well as maintenance and repair costs.

Check Refrigerant Levels

All HVAC systems use refrigerants of some sorts for the cooling. Chlorine-based ones, which are still the most common ones, can seriously damage the ozone. Luckily, safer and better alternatives exist and are becoming more and more popular. Nevertheless, levels of refrigerants of all types need to be controlled and checked regularly.
